This information is supplied only for the corporate website and not for other websites that users may eventually consult via links.
This information is in line with Recommendation 2/2001 adopted on 17 May 2001 by the European personal data protection authorities, in the Working Party set up under Article 29 of Directive 95/46/EC, to identify minimum requirements for the collection of personal data on-line and, in particular, the procedures, times involved and type of information that data controllers must supply to users connecting to the site, regardless of the reason for connection.

DATA PROCESSING LOCATION
Processing of data for the supply of this site's web services takes place at the BT Italia web farm, at Settimo Milanese (Milan) and is exclusively carried out by the technical staff of the office in charge of processing or by staff responsible for occasional maintenance operations. Data resulting from web services are never disclosed or diffused.
Personal data supplied by users requesting information material () are exclusively used to provide the service requested and only disclosed to third parties if necessary for this purpose (dispatch of publications).
TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation data
During normal operations, the electronic systems and software used for this website acquire personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
Although not collected for the purpose of being associated with identifiable data subjects, such information, by its very nature, could allow users to be identified if processed and associated with data in the possession of third parties.
This data category includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of resources requested, the request time, the method used to submit requests to servers, size of file obtained in response, numerical code indicating server response status (successful completion, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the user's operating system and computer environment.
These data, which are exclusively used to obtain anonymous statistics on site use and to check that it is functioning properly, are deleted immediately after processing. Data may be used to establish responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site: in all other circumstances web contact data is not stored for over seven days.
Data voluntarily supplied by users
The optional, explicit and voluntary dispatch of emails to the addresses indicated in the site will lead to the subsequent acquisition of the sender, necessary to respond to requests, as well as of any other personal data that may be included in the message.
Concise summaries will be included or displayed in the website pages handling specific services supplied on request.
COOKIES
The site uses cookies as described below.
Persistent cookies
Persistent cookies are used prior to registration in the Personal Area in order to facilitate navigation within the site. Their purpose is to collect anonymous information (i.e. not permitting the identification, direct or indirect, of site visitors) of a statistical nature such as navigation times, pages visited and duration of visit. Such information is exclusively used to improve the running of the site in response to user navigation patterns. Information collected by cookies concerns site navigation only and it is not related to browsers and/or users' computers. The same type of cookies is used for registered users and allows the user to be associated with registered information. Persistent cookies do not permit access to site areas containing personal data of registered users (see Non-persistent cookies section).
By registering in the Personal Area of the site users provide their consent pursuant to Section 23 of the Code to the processing of their personal data by means of cookies for the purposes and according to the procedures indicated.
Non-persistent session cookies involved in access to Personal Data section
Registered users can manage their personal data using the Personal Data section of their own Personal Area which is accessed by entering login information. This procedure generates a non-persistent session cookie that is exclusively used to authenticate user access to that section not involving any kind of data collection. This cookie is automatically deleted during logout or when browser is closed.
OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA
With the exception of navigation data, users are free to provide their personal data by filling in the information request forms.
Failure to provide such data could make it impossible for users' requests to be met.
For the sake of completeness, it should be pointed out that in some cases (not included in the day-to-day management of this site), the Authority may request news and information in compliance with section 157 of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003 in order to control personal data processing. In such cases, the refusal to reply could incur administrative penalties.
PROCESSING PROCEDURES
Personal data are processed using automatic instruments only for the time strictly necessary for the attainment of the purposes for which they have been collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use of data and unauthorised access.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS
Data subjects supplying their personal data have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data at any time, and to be informed of data content and origin, check their accuracy and request data to be completed, updated, amended or rectified (section 7 of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003).
Under this same section they have the right to request the deletion, the transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, as well as refusing, for legitimate motives, to allow such data to be processed.
